 "Now the Green Blade Riseth" is a 20th-century English Easter hymn written by Anglican priest John MacLeod Campbell Crum (1872–1958) and published in 1928, appearing in the Oxford Book of Carols. It is set to the 15th-century French traditional tune Noël Nouvelet, pairing themes of resurrection with nature's renewal. It is a haunting and beautiful melody performed here by Steve Winwood.
